Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage Fittin OS actually uses today — what's essential, what's optional, and how to change your mind about the optional part at any time.

Effective Date: September 3, 2026Last Updated: September 3, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Fittin OS (run by Fittin Health and Fitness LLP) uses cookies and similar browser storage — like localStorage, which behaves like a cookie for this purpose — when you visit or use the platform, and the choices you have over the optional ones.

2. The two categories

Fittin OS keeps this simple — there are only two categories, and you can choose which optional one applies to you from the cookie banner or the button at the bottom of this page.

  • Essential — always on. The platform can't work without these; they're never gated behind a consent choice.
  • Analytics — optional, off by default, and only turned on if you accept it.

3. Essential cookies and storage we use

NamePurposeDuration
fittin_cookie_consentRemembers your cookie choice, so this banner doesn't reappear on every visit.12 months
accessToken / refreshToken / userStored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie — keeps you signed in and identifies your session on each request. Cleared when you log out.Until logout / expiry
theme, fittin:languageLocal-storage preferences — remembers your light/dark mode and language choice.Until changed

None of these are used for advertising, and none of them are sold or shared with data brokers.

4. Analytics cookies (optional)

Fittin OS does not currently run any analytics or advertising cookies or trackers — there's nothing behind this toggle yet. It exists so that if we ever add privacy-respecting product analytics to understand usage and improve the platform, your existing preference is already on record instead of us guessing or turning it on by default. Accepting this category today has no effect until such a feature actually ships, and this page will be updated the moment it does.

5. Third-party services that may set their own cookies

A few features on Fittin OS load or redirect to third-party services, which may set cookies under their own privacy policies — not ours:

  • Google Maps — used for address search and live location tracking during an active booking. Loading the map can set Google's own cookies in your browser.
  • Cashfree — when you pay for a booking, coins, or a featured listing, you're redirected to Cashfree's own hosted checkout page to complete payment. Any cookies set during that step are set on Cashfree's site, governed by Cashfree's own policy, not this one.

These are functional/necessary to the features they power (address entry, live tracking, payment) — they're not gated by the Analytics toggle above, the same way essential cookies aren't.

6. Managing your choice

You can change your mind at any time — reopen the preferences panel with the button below, from the link in the footer of any page, or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser settings (which brings the banner back on your next visit).

7. Changes to this policy

If what we use cookies for changes — most likely, if analytics is actually turned on — we'll update this page and, for a material change, ask for your consent again rather than assuming it carries over.
